Focus Read is designed to make working with academic PDFs fast, organised, and focused.

📄 Uploading PDFs

Click Upload PDF in the sidebar.
Optionally select a folder first (Lesson, Article, Book, etc.).
The PDF is saved in your account so you can reach it from any device.

📁 Folders (Categories)

Use ＋ to create a new folder.
Use 🗑 to delete a folder — PDFs move to "Other" automatically.
Click a folder header to expand/collapse it.

📚 Library

Click a PDF name to open it in the reader.
Click ⋯ to Rename, Move, or Delete a PDF.
Use the search box to filter by filename.

💬 PDF Chat (Offline)

Select a PDF, then open the Chat panel.
Click Prepare PDF — this extracts the text for analysis.
Then ask questions like: research gap, method, limitations, results.

Chat is fully offline. Answers come only from the PDF content — no guessing.

🤖 AI Assistant (real AI)

Open the AI Assistant panel and click Summarize or Quiz, or type a question and press Ask.
Needs an internet connection and a signed-in, verified account.

This uses a real AI model over your PDF's text — separate from the offline Chat above.

📝 Notes

Notes auto-save as you type.
Click Export .doc to download your notes as a Word file.

🎵 Music

Choose from nature sounds, piano, flute, and more.
Volume and track selection are remembered across sessions.

⏱ Pomodoro Timer

Set work duration, break duration, and number of sets.
Browser notifications and sound alerts supported.

🔍 Google Panel

Type a word or phrase and click Search to open Google.
Click Translate for inline EN↔TR translation (auto-detected).

🌙 Night / Day Mode

Toggle dark mode using the switch at the bottom of the right panel. Your preference is saved automatically.
