By creating an account or using Focus Read, you agree to these terms. Focus Read is currently offered as a free beta product — features and pricing may change as it develops.

The service

• Focus Read is a PDF reading and study tool: library organization, note-taking, an offline PDF chat, and an optional AI Assistant (summary, quiz, Q&A).
• During the beta period, Focus Read is free to use. Any future paid plans will be announced in the app before being charged — nothing is billed automatically today.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide a valid e-mail address and verify it before using the app.

Your content

• You keep ownership of the PDFs and notes you upload. We don't claim any rights over your content — we only store it so you can access it.
• Don't upload content you don't have the right to store, or content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights.

Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent the app's storage limits or AI features — the AI features run on a shared, limited free quota that we'd like to keep working for everyone.
• Don't attempt to access another user's account or data.

Availability

Focus Read is provided "as is" during its beta period. Features may change, and we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your own account at any time from Account → Delete account.

Limitation of liability

Focus Read is provided without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product develops. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
